Every food truck lot in Bend, plus Sisters, Tumalo, Redmond, Sunriver and beyond. See what’s parked there now, which carts are off today and who is open this minute. Or skip the lots and search by what you’re craving.
In Bend, food trucks don’t roam. They park for years at a time in lots (some people say pods): a taphouse or brewery in the middle, a ring of carts around it, and a lot of picnic tables. You order food at each cart’s window, get drinks from the bar, and sit wherever you like. Kids and dogs are welcome at almost all of them.
It is the easiest way to feed a group that can’t agree. One person gets sushi, another gets barbecue, and the kids get pizza. Most plates land under $20. Tabs are separate at every cart and at the bar.
The scene keeps growing outward. The first lot opened on Columbia Street in 2013. Now Sisters, Tumalo, Redmond, Sunriver, La Pine and Prineville all have their own, and we list every one of them below.

Which carts are closed which day
The lot can be open while your cart is not. These are the days off that lots and carts post themselves. Carts not listed either open daily or don’t publish a schedule.
Monday 16 carts off
Whole lot closed: Dogwood at the Pine Shed, Eurosports Food Cart Garden, Over the Edge Taphouse
Rule of thumb: Monday has the most dark windows and Saturday the fewest. If you’re set on one cart early in the week, check its Instagram before you go.

Local know-how
How to do the lots right
Check the cart, not just the lot.
Carts take their own days off and sell out. Going for one specific cart? Check its Instagram first, or use the days-off list above.
Beat the 6 pm rush.
Summer weekends get slammed. At 4:30 to 5 you’ll find a table and short lines.
Order food before 8.
Bars pour until 9, 10 or later. A lot of cart kitchens close at 8. Eat first, then linger.
Split across carts.
Get an appetizer from one cart, mains from another and dessert from a third. That’s the whole point of a lot.
Bring a layer.
Bend drops 30 degrees after sunset, even in July. In winter, pick a lot tagged “Warm in winter.”
Kids and dogs?
Most lots welcome both on the patio, but bar rooms and late events can be 21 and over. Keep dogs on a leash.
Expect separate tabs.
Each cart rings you up on its own, and so does the bar. Open one bar tab and close it when you leave.
Order ahead.
Many carts take online orders. Order from the parking lot and skip the line.
Leave outside drinks in the car.
The taphouse is how the lot pays its rent. Some, like Crosscut, don’t allow outside food either.

For variety, The Podski. For families and big groups, On Tap. For cold weather, The Lot and River’s Place. For cocktails, Dogwood at the Pine Shed. For a sunset, the lawn at Crux. The newest is Base Camp on SW Century Drive, which opened in July 2026 with 12 carts and a 36-tap bar.
How many food trucks are in Bend?
Deschutes County counted about 153 food carts working from permanent spots in Bend in August 2026, and about 290 across the county. This guide covers the 14 lots in Bend where they gather, with about 76 resident carts, plus 14 more lots in Tumalo, Sisters, Redmond, Sunriver, La Pine, Crooked River Ranch and Prineville.
Are there food trucks in Sisters?
Yes, two lots, both a block off Cascade Avenue. The Barn in Sisters at 171 E Main Ave has four carts and a taphouse, open daily from 11 am to 9 pm. The Eurosports Food Cart Garden at 223 E Hood Ave sits behind a bike and ski shop and is open Thursday through Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm.
Are there food trucks in Tumalo?
The Bite at 19860 7th St is Tumalo’s food truck lot, about 10 minutes northwest of Bend just off Highway 20. It is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm with four carts, fire pits and lawn games.
Where are the food trucks in Redmond?
Downtown Redmond has the densest cluster in Central Oregon. Wild Ride Brewing, Blacksmith Public House, General Duffy’s Waterhole and the Redmond Food Park are all within a few blocks. Otto’s Landing is on NW 7th Street and the 1/8th Street Patio is next to High Desert Music Hall.
Are there food trucks in Sunriver?
Century Commons Taps & Trucks at 56809 Venture Lane, in the Sunriver Business Park, has six carts and a taphouse with an indoor patio and fireplace. It is closed on Tuesdays.
Which Bend food truck lots are good in winter?
The Lot encloses its seating and turns on heated benches. River’s Place, Base Camp, On Tap, Crosscut and Ballers & Brews all have real indoor rooms. Most lots also keep fire pits going.
Are Bend food truck lots kid- and dog-friendly?
Most are. On Tap, River’s Place, The Lot, Crux, Bevel and The Bite are especially easy with kids and dogs. Bar areas and late-night events can be 21 and over, and Dogwood is a cocktail bar first. The Redmond Food Park has a fenced play area and serves no alcohol.
Do food carts keep the same hours as the lot?
Not always. The bar might be open while a cart takes its weekly day off or sells out. Monday is the quietest day, with 16 carts in this guide posting it as a day off. Many carts also stop cooking around 8 pm even when the lot stays open later.
Which food truck lots are open late?
The Podski is open until 11 pm daily, and Dogwood at the Pine Shed until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Base Camp and both Wild Ride taprooms run until 10 pm every night. Order food early, because carts often close before the bar does.
Which food trucks in Bend serve breakfast?
Base Camp opens at 9 am daily with coffee and breakfast from Jazzy Joe’s. Little Cole Coffee Co. at Dogwood opens at 8 am Thursday through Sunday. In Sisters, Coco Loco at Eurosports serves breakfast burritos from 9 am Thursday through Sunday.
Where can I find vegan food trucks in Bend?
Three carts are fully plant-based: Toasty at The Podski, A Broken Angel at Crux (it moved there in May 2026) and P53 Fresh at Base Camp. In Sisters, Root Bound at The Barn is plant-based too.
Are there gluten-free food trucks?
I Love Ceviche at Base Camp lists a gluten-free menu, and Cascade Alchemy Bowls at Blacksmith Public House in Redmond builds gluten-free bowls. Always tell the cart about an allergy, since most share small kitchens.
What happened to Big Ski’s Pierogis?
Big Ski’s Pierogis closed on September 14, 2026 after more than 11 years at The Podski. The owner, Rich “Ski” Winiarski, retired the cart.
