Local know-how

Before you go

Sit in the bar.

Anthony’s, Hawkeye & Huckleberry and The Blacksmith only serve happy hour prices in the bar, lounge or patio. If the host seats you in the dining room, ask to move.

Concert nights change everything.

On Hayden Homes Amphitheater show days, Old Mill bars fill by 3:30 and some skip happy hour. Arrive early or head to NW Crossing instead.

Short windows go fast.

A 4–5 pm happy hour really means “order by 4:45.” Kitchens often stop taking happy hour orders a few minutes early.

Holidays don’t count.

Deschutes and several others skip happy hour on holidays. Tap “Call” on the card before a special trip.

Don’t drive the crawl.

Downtown is compact enough to walk between three spots. For anything farther, use a rideshare or pick a driver.

Sunset deals move.

Crux’s Sundowner follows the sun. It starts after 7 pm in June and before 4:30 pm in December. The finder calculates today’s time for you.

What is the best happy hour in Bend for food?

For value, Fire on the Mountain’s $1 wings and Hawkeye & Huckleberry’s $10 burger are hard to beat. For a sit-down meal, Anthony’s (seafood), Bamboo Sushi, The Hudson (oysters) and Washington have the deepest happy hour food menus.

How accurate are these happy hour times?

We re-checked every listing on September 26, 2026. Spots marked “Confirmed” match the business’s own website or menu. Spots marked “Call ahead” come from recent local listings or press. Holidays, private events and concert nights can override any schedule.

How we keep this accurate

Fewer spots, right times

Every spot is re-checked against the restaurant’s own website or menu first, then against recent local press. If we can’t confirm a current schedule, the spot goes in “Checked, but not in the list” with the reason. Cards marked Confirmed match an official source. Cards marked Call ahead rely on recent listings.
