Quick take
Bend has plenty of med spas; the difference is who treats you.
Some clinics are run by a physician or dermatology-trained PA, others by nurse practitioners or nurse injectors under a medical director, and a few do not name their providers at all. Prices are rarely posted.
Physician-led: Bend Aesthetics & Wellness (Dr. Leslie Carey), Elite Medi Spa (Dr. Marlene Covey injects), and the dermatology and plastic surgery clinics.
PA or NP-led: Bluebird (two dermatology-trained PA-Cs), Salt (two NP sisters), Central Oregon Aesthetics (an aesthetic NP and Allergan trainer), EsthetixMD (NP medical director).
Posted prices: Salt lists neuromodulators from $14 a unit, or $12 with its $75-a-month membership. Most others quote at a free consult.
Biggest device menus: EsthetixMD (CoolSculpting, Emsculpt, Thermage, Morpheus8, Fraxel), Elite Medi Spa and W Aesthetics.

Small, injector-led studios
Salt Medical Aesthetics (two nurse practitioners, posted prices), Bluebird Skin Therapy (two dermatology-trained PA-Cs) and Central Oregon Aesthetics (owner Lexi Dudoit, NP, a certified aesthetic nurse specialist) keep menus focused on injectables and a few lasers.
Body contouring, lasers and everything else
EsthetixMD has the widest list in town (CoolSculpting, Emsculpt Neo, Thermage, Morpheus8, Fraxel, CO2). Elite Medi Spa and W Aesthetics & Wellness also run many devices, plus IV and weight-loss programs.
A dermatology practice’s cosmetic side
Juniper Dermatology runs a full Aesthetics & Laser Center; Bend Dermatology Clinic has its DermaSpa (541-330-9139). Good if you also want skin checks or have rosacea, melasma or acne scarring. See our dermatologists guide.
Plastic surgery perspective
Bend Plastic Surgery’s Cosmetic Clinic, VillanoMD’s Uncommon Aesthetics and Alpenaura pair a surgeon with a skin clinic, useful if you are weighing injectables against surgery. See the plastic surgeons guide.
An MD does the injecting
Bend Aesthetics & Wellness is led by board-certified physician Dr. Leslie Carey; at Elite Medi Spa, Dr. Marlene Covey and an RN inject. Dermatology and plastic surgery offices also have physicians on site.

What med spa treatments cost in Bend
Only Salt posts standing prices; others quote at a consult. National averages are from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, checked Oct. 24, 2026. Ask whether a quote is per unit, per area or per syringe.

What moves the price
Units vs. areasPer-unit pricing is easier to compare. Ask how many units they plan to use and why.
MembershipsMost Bend clinics sell monthly memberships (Salt Fam, Club W, COA Collective, Beauty Bank, Elite). Check the cancellation terms and whether unused credit expires.
Brand and productDaxxify and biostimulators cost more per treatment; filler is priced per syringe.
Package dealsLaser series and microneedling are often sold in packages of 3–6. Pay per session if you are not sure you will finish.
Safety and red flags
Nobody will tell you who injects. You should know the person’s name and license type before you book.
No medical history or consent. A real assessment asks about pregnancy, medications, blood thinners, cold sores and past reactions.
Prices far below everyone else. The FDA warned in 2024 that counterfeit Botox (lot C3709C3, labeled “Botulinum Toxin Type A”) caused serious reactions after injections in homes and spas. Ask to see the sealed box.
Filler without a plan for emergencies. Ask how they would handle a blocked blood vessel and whether they keep hyaluronidase on hand.
Reviews. Look for reviews that name the injector and describe follow-up care, not just friendly staff. Photos should show the same lighting before and after.
Get medical care right away for drooping eyelids, double vision, trouble swallowing or breathing after neuromodulator injections, or skin that turns white, gray or blue after filler.
Start with the provider, not the treatment trend
Physicians (MD, DO)
Can diagnose, prescribe and inject. Dermatologists and plastic surgeons have the most training in facial anatomy. License: Oregon Medical Board.
Physician assistants (PA-C)
Medical providers who work in collaboration with physicians. License: Oregon Medical Board.
Nurse practitioners (NP)
Oregon NPs can prescribe and inject independently. License: Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Registered nurses (RN)
Can inject on a prescriber’s order. Ask who the supervising prescriber is.
Certified advanced estheticians
Oregon certifies estheticians for nonablative laser, IPL and related device work. They cannot inject.
Estheticians
Facials, light peels, standard microneedling and skincare. Licensed through the Oregon Board of Cosmetology.

How many of this treatment do you do each week?
What brand and how many units or syringes do you plan to use?
Can I see the sealed product box?
What happens if I get a complication at night or on a weekend?
Do you keep hyaluronidase on site for filler problems?
Is a follow-up visit or touch-up included in the price?

Medical spas in Bend: common questions
How much is Botox in Bend?
Few Bend clinics post prices. Salt Medical Aesthetics lists neuromodulators from $14 a unit, or $12 with its $75-a-month membership. A forehead and frown lines commonly take 20 to 40 units. The ASPS national average fee is $435 per treatment.
Who can give Botox injections in Oregon?
Physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners can, and registered nurses can inject on a prescriber’s order. Estheticians cannot inject. Ask your clinic who will treat you and look them up on the Oregon Medical Board or Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Which Bend med spas are run by physicians?
Bend Aesthetics & Wellness is founded by Dr. Leslie Carey, and Elite Medi Spa lists Dr. Marlene Covey as an injector. Dermatology clinics (Juniper, Bend Dermatology’s DermaSpa) and plastic surgery offices (Bend Plastic Surgery, VillanoMD, Alpenaura) also have physicians on site.
Are med spa memberships worth it?
They can be if you get treatments every few months anyway. Check the monthly fee, what it lowers, whether credit rolls over, and how to cancel. Salt’s $75 membership drops neuromodulators from $14 to $12 a unit.
Can estheticians do laser treatments in Oregon?
Yes, if they hold Oregon’s certified advanced esthetician credential, which covers nonablative laser, IPL and similar device procedures. Ablative lasers like full CO2 resurfacing should be done by or under a medical provider.
How do I avoid counterfeit Botox?
Go to a licensed clinic, ask who injects, and ask to see the sealed box. The FDA warned in 2024 that counterfeit Botox, including lot C3709C3, caused harmful reactions after injections in homes and spas. Very low prices are a warning sign.
